After a slow morning of recovery after a lot of exercise yesterday that included 18 miles of biking and over 10,000 steps walking, we visited NASA's Wallop Visitor Center to learn more about the missile launches occuring on Wallops Island. The exhibits were informative, interesting, and full of great math and science lessons. From the observation deck we got a great view of Wallops Island, and even a view of the area we are staying off in the distance.
The rest of the day was spent relaxing and reading, as well as watching a large flock of birds moving around the park.
