We arrived at Bahia Honda State Park yesterday afternoon after a 4 and a half hour drive from Jupiter, Fl. The traffic coming across the causeway and down Hwy 1 was actually not bad, although slow in some spots. We have seen much worse over the 7 years coming down to the Keys.
Our site is site 18, right on the water, although it is a rocky shore. We love looking out of the RV at the Bay and the bridge. Sunset last evening was beautiful, and we hope to enjoy many more during our stay here. The only drawback to the water sites is the wind, with is typically 10-20 mph. We are still deciding whether to put up our Clam, a dining tent that sets up in just a few minutes.
