1st Day at Rainbow Springs Campground

We arrived here yesterday afternoon and took some time setting up. Jim got the slide-out out through some manipulation and hopefully will be able to get it in on the 27th so we can move on. We have the Clam up so the bikes can be kept protected. They no longer allow bikes ridden on the trolley road even though the trolley is not in operation this time of year...it's a bummer!

Last night I drove to Maryanne's home to see her and use her internet for tutoring 2 students in Calculus. We will get together several more times while we are in the area. I have known Maryanne since 1973 when our husband's were in training together in Charleston, WV.

This morning we woke to pouring rain and it has continued to rain all morning.  It's a good day to read a book.

Later in the day I took a long walk through the park, including down to the riverfront. The water level is high from lots of rain.

The temperatures have been in the 70s but that ends tonight when they are calling for a freeze. We disconnect the water when the temp drops to 33 or 32 degrees.
