We said goodbye to Gulf Shores and headed north to pick up I-65 toward Murfreesboro, TN. We will stop for the night north of Birmingham, at MyRVPark in Hanceville, Exit 291 off I-65 Alabama. Tomorrow it will be a much shorter drive to get to Jerry & Heidi's home, where we will stay until Friday morning. Then we will head for home, arriving Saturday afternoon to a clean house thanks to Steven and a cleaning crew he hired.
We had a serious issue with one of the bikes falling off the bike rack. Some motorists let us know we had a problem. A stap broke off the wheel hold and the bar used to hold Jim's bike in place came loose. We now have the two bikes tied together so there should be no more issue with that.
Our stop for the night gave us a pull-thru site so easy in and out...not the greatest place to stay but it worked well for 1 night.
We crossed the Tennessee River....two parts.
