Final Days at Blue Springs.

Yesterday we found a laundromat just north of here to do our laundry.  There is a washer and dryer in the campground but the washer costs $4 per load and the dryer $3.  Knowing that we had at least 4 regular loads, that gets a bit pricey.  At the laundromat it cost $4.50 per double load and $1 for 24 minutes of drying time, or $0.25 per every 6 minutes.  We were able to get all clothes washed with 3 washers and 3 dryers for a total cost of $17 and 1 hour of our time.

They reported 11 manatee sighted in the park yesterday, and I am pretty sure I saw 7 of them late afternoon close to the St John river. They seemed a bit playful  and it was fun to watch.

Today we had hoped to go kayaking in the St Johns River but not with winds gusting to 30 mph. Tomorrow they are calling for more of the same sadly.  We will probably spend the day tomorrow getting in one more walk along the boardwalk and doing some cleaning and maintenance in and on the RV.  Then Tuesday we leave here and head to Gamble Rogers State Park just south of Flagler Beach.   How the RV engine behaves on that short drive may determine what we do from there.  It seems that truck stop diesel as biofuel does not work well with our engine and may be the cause of our engine troubles, but until we get home and to a shop to drain the fuel tank, the problem will likely continue.
