The morning began slowly with heavy rain and thunder. As much as Gus wanted to go out he refused until the rain stopped. Jim & Mike spent a good part of the morning fixing the RV power cord. The original was so bad we are lucky the RV didn't burn down. We now have a new power connection that works great.
The four of us went down to Pensacola Beach to the home of the Original Bushwacker, Sandshaker Lounge, for the annual Black beans and rice feed. It's part of the Mardi Gras tradition, happening every year the day before Fat Tuesday. There was a decent crowd outside and the bars inside were packed.
This evening I had to tutor, so while I was doing that, Jim, Joanne, and Mike went to play Bingo. They didn't win anything but had a good time.
