Today's drive is our last long distance drive for 2 months. We fueled up one more time, made a few restaurants area stops, and finally got to more scenic views.
Crossing Escambia Bay on I-10. Then on to Perdido Key.
The drive along the Gulf includes interesting buildings like the condos.
And Flora-Bama...
When we did get to the State Park campground, we had to park in the overflow lot to wait until our site was cleared. In the meantime the truck would not start again so we asked someone who was also waiting for their site to help out by giving our truck a jump. Jim had the cables easily accessible this time. Just then a campground worker delivered our site card and sent us on to our site.
Setting up took a bit of time, including repairing the tent....something we should have done at home, but forgot about.
