Today is my second day of excruciating jaw pain, causing a serious headache along with the pain in my mouth. I finally got an appointment for tomorrow morning with a local dentist. Hopefully together we can figure out what is causing this pain and find a solution.
In the meantime, there is some excitement down the street from us...the fire truck and rescue squad are there. Gus howled when they pulled into the street. We will try to find out what happened later today.
I am trying to enjoy the day as much as I can, sitting out in the tent and reading. The sun feels good...it's a little cooler today, low 60s, but warm enough. Gus is hanging outside with me.
Gus and I took a walk after the fire dept pulled out. We couldn't see any sign of a fire but there was a smell in the air indicating some kind of fire in the area....could have just been a firepit fire. A person was taken by ambulance to the hospital, but they were sitting up, a positive sign.
