I finally got Jim to go for a walk on the beach with me. We even walked on the pier, seeing many fishing but few catching. We did see one man pull in a fish.
The pier has been restored fully after a hurricane destroyed it some years ago.
Upon leaving the pier, we walked down the beach toward the lodge, dipping our toes in the chilly water along the way. No one was in the water, but many were enjoying playing in the sand, sunbathing, or walking along like us.
Later in the day we built a campfire and enjoyed eating leftovers and roasting hotdogs on the fire....a nice end to the day.
