This morning we drove into Elkins to the visitor's center to get information about the area. The gentleman there recommended a drive that would fill our day and it certainly did that. We had Gus with us so outdoor things only.
He showed us a map and traced a route for us to follow, going from Elkins to Parsons to Thomas to Davis and finally back to Rt 33 west to our campground.
The scenery on the drive was Incredible, the towns we drove through were quaint.
Our last stop in the park was at Lindy Point, a 2-mile round trip hike to a beautiful overlooking.
Then we exited the park, finished driving through Davis, and down through the Canaan Valley before heading "home" for the evening.
