DRIVING HOME

Gus rode in the copilot seat of the RV on the way home today. We decided to come back via Rt 250 rather than Rt 33 and it was a much better drive. I followed Jim, driving the truck, until we got to Staunton and the interstate. Then I just headed home while he stopped for gas and potty breaks for himself and Gus. I was ready to go faster after lots of 35 - 45 mph driving through the mountains. They got home about 40 minutes after me. The drive on rt 250 was a very pretty drive. I have no pics because I was driving, except what my brain stored! Too bad I can't copy those images to a flash drive...maybe in the future???

Now that we are home, there is more $$ to be spent to make the RV better for travel. We need a new tow bar, a new radio with cameras up front, a new inverter, a new CO2 detector, and whatever else Jim wants installed. No plans for more travel until the end of the summer....we will see.
