More Exploring

Today's visits included Seneca Rocks, Spruce Lake and Spruce Rocks. The visitors center at Seneca Rocks was closed but we were able to walk the trail and get a clear view of the rocks. We didn't see any climbers today.

We changed from a 2-lane road to a one lane round as we entered the national park. Thankfully we didn't run into too many cars coming the opposite way, either in Ireland out of the park. It reminded me of some of Ireland's roads only those didn't have shear dropouts on one side of several hundred feet.

It was a long drive through the park to get to the lake, and then to the peak, but both were well worth it! The views at the peak were incredible and provided a walk path all around the peak, fairly level, and views on all sides.

From there we took the long drive back down the mountain and out of the park, but it was another 60 minute drive to get back to the campground.
