We are finally on our way south after days of preparation. We left a leaky kitchen faucet to deal with when we get home...just turned off the cold water so it doesn't leak while we are away. Gus has been worrying for days but now seems relaxed as we drive down I95.
We stayed the night at Bass Lake Campground, 1 exit past South Of The Border. It is a simple campground with pull-thru sites, perfect for a brief stop.
Our next stop tomorrow will be a Sun City community near Bluffton, SC to visit Sharon & Denny Anderson for a few days before heading into Florida.
