A chilly morning gave way to a nice 70 degrees, sun mixed with white clouds. This is my kind of weather! I took Gus for a nice walk where we met a great couple from Maine. They lost their dog recently, something we can relate to since we said farewell to Sadie almost 5 years ago. This couple gave Gus a ball to play with and he has been protective of it ever since.
The beach is about a half mile from our campsite. Jim and I rode our bikes there and walked a little on the beach before his hip started to hurt. I didn't find any shells that I don't already have in my collection at home, but I always love walking on the beach.
