We left St Andrews SP and Panama City Beach on the 1st of February headed west in Rt 98. We drove through Destin with all its traffic and continued west to Pensacola. From there we followed the coast to Orange Beach and finally Gulf Shores and the State Park. It was a long drive with no stops only because there was no place to stop our big rig. Upon arriving at the campground we got in line with about 12 other RVs waiting to check in before being able to find our site and settle in. We are in site 387 at the far end of this very large campground, next to Bathhouse 11. The grassy area next to our site has been torn up with lots of holes dug by armadillos before we got here. We haven't seen any of the creatures yet but they are nocturnal.
