Today we had a long drive, from home to Butler PA, where we are staying at Smith Grove Campground. It was a long, uneventful, and beautiful drive through parts of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and PA. We did deal with lots of hills, both up and down.....enough that my Garmin fitness watch claimed I had gone up and down 14 flights of stairs, all while sitting in the passenger seat of the RV.
This is the area Jim grew up in and graduated from high school...Knoch HS in Saxonburg, PA...50 years ago. We are staying here for 3 nights so we can visit with friends and participate in his class reunion.
