St George Island and most of northern Florida has been experiencing much colder weather due to a cold front that came through late Sunday. Our low temp has been in the 30s with winds gusting to 35 mph. The high temperatures have barely made it to 50. Today the winds are lighter and the temperatures should reach almost 60 with lots of sunshine. Even with the cold temps we have managed to stay warm and get in several long walks with Gus, more than 12,000 steps to be more precise.
Today Sharon and I walked on the beach. The temperature is up to 56 and the winds died down, so it is a beautiful day for that. There are others in the beach doing the same thing, lots of shells to check out, and nice hard sand for easier walking.
