Mike, Joanne, Donna, and Bill drive over from Pensacola to spend part of the day with us. We talked about a trip to Ireland in the Fall, as well as other things. Then we all went to a late lunch at Doc's Seafood Shack & Oyster Bar on Canal St in Orange Beach, AL
Another couple, friends of Bill & Donna, joined us. Lots, and Lots of food and great conversation was had by all. Three of the 4 couples split a seafood platter combo with shrimp, fish filets, crab cakes, stuffed crab, fried clams, hush puppies, cole slaw, and fries. There were 2 orders of onion rings at the table as well. We were all stuffed when we left!!!
The weather is expected to turn cooler overnight with rain and thunderstorms in the forecast. Tomorrow is expected to only reach the mid 60s, but the rain should be out of here before noon.
Gus and I seem to find wildlife on our walks. I was able to capture a turtle before it disappeared in the water this time. That's because I saw it before Gus did.
