Yesterday we hauled the dead microwave oven to the Gulf Shores Dump. There was no charge, but Jim did get his truck muddy driving through there. At least we didnt have to haul it home with us. Hopefully, Jerry is bringing a replacement for us today. They will be arriving early afternoon to site 149, about 7 sites down from us.
We had a good bit of sunshine yesterday before the clouds and rain moved in.
Last night, all night, it poured down buckets of rain...reminded me of our situation several years ago when the campground we stayed in got flooded. There was no flooding this time. Just a lot of puddles to avoid today. This morning I walked up to the office to check out and back in to our site for the final time this year. In 2 weeks we will be heading home to Virginia. We plan to be back next January for a 2-month stay, different site.
