The drive to Kanab, Utah was a little more than an hour of more beautiful vistas along the way.
We are staying at Kanab RV Corral on the south side of the town. It has a pool and a dog run, which Gus has already "annointed". He also got to play with a few other dogs in the dog run this afternoon, wearing him out in the heat. We are back in the upper 80s-90s here during the day but it cools down quickly in the evening to the upper 50s-60. Much of the afternoon Jim and Paul worked to create a new power plug for Paul's camper. The old one was burned up this morning. Hopefully the new one will not meet the same fate.
Mary and I took Gus for a walk toward town and found a few signs about movie stars who were in films shot in and around Kanab. I am sure there are more further up the street so we will have to explore that tomorrow.
