Kayaking Lake Manatee

Today was a lovely day, a little cool (65 °), but very sunny. We took advantage of this by taking the kayaks for a paddle on the lake, toward the dam and back to the dock. It took about 90 minutes, although we did a lot of relaxed floating on the way back, at least until the wind died. There were no alligator sitings, just one fishing boat, and few birds out....a very peaceful time!
