Lori & Mark treated us to dinner at Dat Cajun Place. It was packed but we utilized the Wait List so that when we got there our wait was less than 15 minutes. Dinner was delicious...oysters prepared several ways for Mark and Lori, a delicious grilled fish for me and a shrimp dish for Jim. It was still Happy Hour while we were there so beer was $1 a tall glass, and wine was $3 a glass...great deal. What a nice way to finish the day!
The story began with a 5-week journey in a 1997 RV, from Richmond, Va to Utah and back, July 23 through August 27, 2011. The next step included the sale of that RV and the purchase of a larger, classier RV we call Princess. And so our adventures continue.

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day, but very windy. It got up to 64 degrees in the afternoon. After a big breakfast if eggs, toast and bacon, we drove into the St Andrews district of Panama City, on the waterfront. Their Mardi Gras Festival was going on this weekend. There were vendors, food trucks, and lots of people. Some, like us, were in regular clothes, but many were dressed in costumes, hats, beads, etc. We were lucky to get a parking spot down on the pier in public parking for free. It was fun walking through town and along the waterfront. The parade wasn't going to start until 2:30 pm and we decided not to hang around for it. We headed back to camp, sat out in the sun and enjoyed drinks and snacks. Lori and I went down to the beach for a long walk, collecting a few shells as we went. Lori and I walked well over 10,000 steps today.
