We said goodbye to Mark & Lori this morning, as they began their long drive home. Sad to see them go but so glad they came down to enjoy some time with us. When they left the sun was shining and it looked to be another beautiful sunny day, but that was short lived.
The clouds rolled in and stayed with us most of the day, clearing out again in time for a beautiful sunset. We had planned to go kayaking in the Lagoon but the wind and tide were against us so we scrapped that idea and opted for a relaxing day. I finished a book I had been reading and Jim got caught up on his news, emails, etc.
We went out for dinner at Harpoon Harry's (we ate lunch there the other day), where we watched the sunset from the inside dining room and enjoyed a delicious dinner followed by a special birthday dessert, complements of the house. It was a lovely way to spend my birthday!
