This morning we left Warrior's Path State Park to continue our journey west. We got through Knoxville with no traffic issues and are now in Central Time Zone. The scenery is beautiful...lots of hills and rivers.
We are listening to one of Jimmy Buffett's concerts on Sirius Radio...Margaritaville channel. Barefooting was just on and reminded us of the time Jocelyn, Steven, Jonas and Thomas went to a Buffett concert in NOVA in one of our cars. When they returned there were dents in the hood and roof, visible signs of people sitting on the car. The kids denied it but handed me a roll of film to develop from the concert...clear evidence that they were not being truthful...about several things.
We are stopping at Buc-ee's, exit 320, for fuel and to check out the store.
That is one BIG store! They have everything you need and mostly what you don't need but might buy anyway.
The leaves are beginning to change in the Tennessee hills.
We finally made it to Jerry & Heidi's home in Murfreesboro, TN. We are enjoying their new screened in porch. Their dog Bonnie is taking it easy while we talk.
Mike and Joanne arrived late afternoon. We enjoyed a relaxing evening all together with dinner of steaks, potato salad, fabulous baked beans, veggie salad, and topped off with a tuxedo cake.
