After a good breakfast we drove up I-35 to pick up Rt 66 going east. We visited Pop's 66, a restaurant that sells over 80 different kings of soda ilpn 12 oz glass bottles.
We also stopped at the ruins of a gas station that is an historic site as well as the red barn site.
From Rt 66, we went to the Cowboy Museum where we spent more than 3 hours enjoying the exhibits and art work.
By mid afternoon we were ready to take a break and headed back to our RV. We had planned to go out to dinner with a friend, Cliff, who lives nearby, but had trouble starting the jeep. We are not sure what is going on so we canceled dinner out and stayed in instead. Cliff came for a visit and promised to check on us tomorrow. The guys plan to take the car to the Jeep service center to get checked out in the morning.
