Today we left Little Rock about 8:30 am headed west again along I-40. Our drive today was about 6 hours with a few stops, one for fuel and one at the Oklahoma visitor's center. Once in Oklahoma we started to see oil wells at work.
We are staying at Roadrunner RV Park just off I-35 in Oklahoma City, in site 116. I am pretty sure it is the same site we were in 2 years ago.
After settling in and enjoying a late lunch we decided to go exploring and ended up in Bricktown where there is a canal walk and lots of shops and restaurants. All the buildings and the streets are brick, thus its name.
Finally we visited the memorial site at the Federal Building downtown. It is a beautiful memorial to a tragic event. On the way there we saw lots of beautiful murals telling some of the history of Oklahoma.
