Idaho Falls

Yesterday we left Montana and drove to Idaho Falls.  The scenery changed dramatically as we traveled.  Along the way we lost Bill & Pat, not knowing where they were for a while. Cell phone coverage in that area was limited to nonexistent.  It turns out they had a flat tire on the trailer and it tore up part of the fender as well.  Bill was able to use the spare tire to get them to the nearest town, Lima, where he replaced both right side trailer tires.  When they met up with us at the county park in Idaho Falls, he and Jim worked on "fixing" the fender as best they could.

The county park we stayed in was situated on the bank of the Snake River, the same river that flows through Yellowstone National Park.  They charge $15 to dry camp, but it beat staying in the Walmart lot...quiter and prettier scenery.

We are on our way again to Salt Lake City.
