What a great day trip this was. Jim and I opted to take a 2.5 hour cruise on Lake Powell, while Bill and Pat opted to stay on dry land at the WAHWEAP resort. The cruise took us up close to the Glen Canyon Dam, around Antelope Island, past a new marina of houseboats, and into two canyons. We were lucky to get seats on the top deck for great views and lots of sun. Upon return to land, we joined up with Bill & Pat, but not before spotting the roadrunner pictured below...first time I ever saw one except in cartoons.
