We are currently at Koreshan State Park in Estero, FL, just south of Fort Myers. The weather is a little cooler than normal here but it's still warm enough to be outside with either a light jacket or no jacket at all. Some of the activities we are usually doing here have been canceled due to Covid, which is disappointing. We have been to Mike's U Pick Em for strawberries and tomatoes. The strawberries are delicious and pretty to look at too! The tomatoes have real flavor too! We've also had Gus to the dog park nearby, and taken him for long walks in the park. The best part of traveling in warmer climate this time of year is that we both get more exercise just by walking Gus. We've been hoping to get the kayaks in the water but the cooler temps and breezy conditions are not helping. We'll see...maybe later today.
The story began with a 5-week journey in a 1997 RV, from Richmond, Va to Utah and back, July 23 through August 27, 2011. The next step included the sale of that RV and the purchase of a larger, classier RV we call Princess. And so our adventures continue.
