We were very lucky with the weather at Gamble Rogers State park, with only one day of rain, and only half the day to be correct. There were daily walks with Gus, on the beach, on the nature paths on the other side of the road, and even through a nearby neighborhood. There was also time to sit on the beach for a short time watching the fishing boats, the birds, and looking for migrating whales...none spotted. Steve & Jenna gave us a fire pit that we got up and running. That will come in handy on cool evenings, which we expect to have many of this trip.
Today we are on our way to Sebastian Inlet State Park for a week. I will have more on that in the coming days.
