We left Koreshan State Park this morning after spending the last few days there visiting the dog Park for Gus, and replenishing supplies.
Our drive today took about 2 1/2 hours up I-75 and across the Sunshine Skyline to Fort Desoto County Park located south of St Petersburg. This was the first campground that we did not register at the office or check in with any Rangers. The notice on the Campground office doors said to go directly to our site and our pass would be there. It was. Our site this year is one of the best. It is very long and directly on the water so we can launch our kayaks right here. There is also plenty of room for our CLAM, a screened tent, which gives us an extra bit of space. We will be here until the 25th, when we move on again.
