We haven't been able to post in a few days....busy moving to a new campground near Chiefland, FL, and settling in. To top it off, there is little to no cell signal here. They do have wifi at the Springs Concession area, which is where I am now.
We arrived on Monday afternoon and settled in. Having never been here before we explored while there was still daylight. Most of the campers have smaller units or tents as only a few sights are big enough to handle our size RV.
The deer are regular visitors to our site as well as on our walks. This morning I was sitting outside enjoying the quiet when at least 6 deer paid a visit. I enjoyed just watching them...no shooting...pics!
Yesterday we were able to get out on the water for a little kayaking. We saw at least 8 manatee, most very near the kayak launch and a few out by the open river...the Suwannee River. It moves at a steady pace so we kayaked up river and floated down.
