Another beautiful day today, although a little cooler. The campground has had a big turnover today with about 10 sites emptied out this morning. I expect they will all be filled by the end of the day since the website indicates that the campground is full.
It has been a nice day to sit outside and read. I finished Kristin Hannah's book, Winter Garden, this afternoon. Now I need to read something lighter before getting into another intense read. Gus likes being outside, even if he is tethered to a line.
We've also been watching and listening to the news amid the horrible attack in New Orleans. Having been there many years ago at New Year's we have a strong sense of the horror of a vehicle attacking people on Bourbon Street, even early in the day! We will keep the families of those killed in our prayers as well as those who were injured.
