JAN 9-10- Slight warming trend

Having Gus with us when we travel ensures that we get some exercise walking. It is necessary to take Gus for walks 4 times a day when RVing, unlike when we are home and he gets one walk a day, weather permitting. [We do have a doggie door at home and a fenced yard.]  I have managed to get in at least 7000 steps a day and often over 10,000 steps in a day. One full loop of this campground gives me 4000 steps. Often, when Gus and I do that, we stop by to visit Bambi & Leland who we met 7 years ago when Gus was on his 1st RV trip with us. At that time they had a dog, Lucy, who has now passed away. We met at Fort Pickens in Pensacola Beach and have since crossed paths many times over these 7 years at several different RV parks.

After all that walking Gus needs his rest so he often curls up in his bed, when he's not sleeping in ours.

Today it is cloudy with storms coming this afternoon.  We have been lucky to have mostly sunshine so far but I probably just jinxed that. It can be very windy which is why our Clam (dining tent) is not set up here, and why our awnings have been closed up.  The stars (and planets) have been very visible at night, and I love using my app, Stellarium, to identify planets and stars in the sky. Most nights, Venus shines bright and often Jupiter is also visible.
