We continue to have cold temps here, but still not as cold as at home. This week it will be in the 50s in the afternoons and lows in the 40s. Yesterday we went into town for a few things and coming back I remembered to take photos of the construction work going on in the park where we are staying. They say they expect to complete the work by spring...there is a lot to get done yet.
Gus likes to sit in the front seat and watch the comings and goings around us, including people, dogs, and deer. He gets especially excited over the deer who show themselves almost daily.
On our daily walks we walk along the waterfront overlooking the bay or Lagoon as it's referred to. There is a small sailboat out there laying on its side but it hasn't sunk...not sure why?
It has looked like this for at least the last week, probably longer.
We leave here on Friday and head to Pensacola for a week, working our way closer to Gulf Shores where we will spend 6 weeks. Hopefully we will see it warm up very soon.
