We are settling in at St Andrews State Park. We have to watch for sand spurs, especially with Gus, but also tracking them inside on our shoes. Jim and I rode our bikes to the camp store to check on firewood. They had very little and a bundle of 4 pieces of wood cost $10. We are sure we can do better in town so we will do some research on that. The campground is on the bay side while the other side of the park has a large beach and Pavillions. The photos below are views from the campground looking out across the bay.
We are here for 2 weeks so you can bet I will be visiting the beach often. Colder weather is on its way but that won't keep me from beach walks as long as it's not raining.
