The Alamo was our first stop in visiting San Antonio. We opted to tour the ruins on our own as there were plenty of signs with info and a 20 min movie to watch.
After our tour of the Alamo we walked down to the riverfront, took a 30 minute boat ride, the found a spot on the riverfront for lunch. Our final stops for the day were a pastry shop called La Panaderia and a donut shop called VOODOO, where we purchased some sweets...we have avoided such things all trip until now.
Once back at camp we settled in, having done a lot of taking in the sights. Mike and I walked down to the waterfront where the pier is but not much water! The lake is very very low right now.
