Today is our final full day at the timeshare in Cathedral City/Palm Springs. We have been hanging out at the resort most of the day, other than to make a quick shopping trip to Aldi for supplies for the next week. The RV needed a good cleaning inside so Joanne and I gathered some supplies and went down to where the RV is parked to do that cleaning. We wiped everything down because of the dust storms that were happening for a few days, and vacuumed the floors. We also started loading dry goods into the RV so there will be less to do in the morning. We still have the refrigerator and clothing to load but Jim will pull the RV up close for us to do all of that in the morning. The resort allowed us to plug in the refrigerator overnight in preparation.
This has been a good week but I don't think we will ever come back here. It is very dry and often dusty as well as being a bit too warm for October. Fuel prices are very high and the restaurants are expensive so we ate in every night and saved money.
We had a visit from a roadrunner right outside our sliding door this afternoon...so fun to watch.
