Day 14 - on to Kingman, AZ

Fuel prices are climbing as we expected. This morning when we fueled up, diesel was $5.10 per gallon. It is not likely to get better until we are well on our way home.

Our first stop today after filing up the tank was William, AZ. There we ate breakfast at the Rt 66 Diner on Route 66. I took a pic of Jim's breakfast that included corned beef hash, hashbrowns, eggs, toast, and biscuits and gravy. He was HUNGRY! Then we walked through the small town which has a lot of unique features.

Next stop Seligman where a barber named Angel Delgadillo is the man who pushed through the designation of Route 66 as a National Historic Road. There are some interesting gift shops, lots of historic buildings, and a great local fast food shop where shakes and ice cream cones are a favorite.

When we finished our ice cream cones we headed back to I-40 and on to Kingman, AZ. We are staying at Sunrise RV Park for 2 nights before driving to Palm Springs.
