Thankfully there are a few hours of cool temperatures in the early mornings so I can get in a good walk. Joanne joined me this morning. After a good breakfast, we ran some errands. Jim needed parts for his hearing aids so we visited a Costco....the largest one I had ever been in. He got what he needed for his hearing aides, Joanne got her Keto bread, and we purchased vodka, Coconut rum, and Kahlua all at great prices in the Costco. From there we visited a date farm where they not only raise dates but several other fruit trees including lemon trees, Valencia oranges, grapefruit, and guava trees. The storefront sells lots of products using all of those fruits. They even had date milkshakes so Mike had to get one. It turned out to be too much even for him. It was so hot out that my phone overheated just carrying it around.
Our last stop before heading back to the cool of our suite was the cemetery where Frank Sinatra and his family are buried, and where Sonny Bono is buried, along with many other well known people. In getting there we passed or drove on several streets named for deceased celebrities.
