More Cabot Trail Photos, Southeast side

At the top of the trail, we drove through the mountains to the other side of the Highlands National Park. It was quite cloudy but starting to clear out, so visibility was getting better.

We drove into Neil's Harbor, a very quaint town or fishing village. The lighthouse has been turned into an ice cream parlor. The shoreline is very rocky with high cliffs near the lighthouse.

From there we headed south along the trail through  Ingonish, and the Old Smoky Mountain, with a long descent to the valley below. We then wound our way along St Ann's Bay and Harbor on our way back to Baddeck and our campground outside of Baddeck.
