We woke this morning to more rain and large puddles. Our camping neighbor has the right idea with his rubber boots. The best we can do is use our crocks to keep our shoes from getting mucky WET around the campsite. After packing up in the rain, we hitched up the jeep and headed to Cape Breton.
The rain seemed to stay with us much of the drive but we finally saw a little bit of Blue sky for about 15 minutes before the clouds covered that up again. It is not raining now, and although more rain is predicted today, we may get some clearing skies the next few days.
We are staying at Baddeck Cabot Trail Campground for the next 3 nights and plan to visit not only Baddeck but part of the Cabot Trail the next few days.
