This and That

Here are a few tidbits about our trip so far.
We have not seen any moose although we have seen plenty of signs telling us to watch for them. We have seen deer and a large rabbit who Gus wants to chase or play with... not sure which is the case.

We have seen these beautiful purple and pink flowers everywhere we go up here.  They seem to thrive in this cooler climate. They .are called lupine or bluebonnet

We have eaten lobster and other seafood only twice so far...need to do more of that, but the seafood chowder in Alta is the best I have ever tasted to date.
The road signs here are picturesque  to say the least.  See if you can guess what they all mean. This is one of the easier ones to understand.

It has rained every day up here since June 26, our 2nd day in Canada.  That includes yesterday, July 3, when it rained most of the morning.  This may be our first full day here without any rain. We hope so and that we have many more sunny days!

Happy 4th of July!
