The story began with a 5-week journey in a 1997 RV, from Richmond, Va to Utah and back, July 23 through August 27, 2011. The next step included the sale of that RV and the purchase of a larger, classier RV we call Princess. And so our adventures continue.

Wine, Scallops, Poutine, and Coastal Views
Our last evening in Annapolis Royal and Digby was spent visiting a few wineries, enjoying dinner in Digby, and then driving a little further up the coast to another lighthouse and some beautiful views. Dinner was at Shoreline Restaurant in Digby, just across from the harbor, and consisted of bacon wrapped scallops, a seafood spread/dip (lobster, scallops, haddock and clams mixed in a creamy sauce) with toasted bread, caesar salad, and poutine. I had to admit that the poutine is delicious although it is not something I would usually order. We shared everything and couldn't finish it all, there was so much. We even got to sit out on the patio for dinner, and enjoy some beer and wine. This was the perfect end to our stay in this part of Nova Scotia. Tomorrow we move on to Five Islands Regional Park across the Bay, our last stop in Nova Scotia before heading to Prince Edward Island.
