Today is the last day of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. We stayed away from all of that. Instead we visited Minuteman Missile Museum and one of the former missile sites, and Kadoka where there are some amazing sculptures in an open field and a Distillery nearby. Afterwards we returned to the campground and the RV to beat the 99-100 degree temperatures. On the way back to our RV we saw an old Fiat headed East on I-90 with a big sign in the back window that said "Carmel or Bust" They were headed the wrong way!
this last photo is of an RV that ran off the road into a farmer's field a few days ago and left there abandoned. The front windshield was missing and the was plenty of other damage to the rig.
We played Quirkle as a group, then fixed a dinner of pasta Alfredo with shrimp accompanied by a tossed salad. Afterward we sat around talking about childhood memories, college memories, and music from the 60s as we listened to the 60s channel on Sirius Radio.
