One more trip west

We left home about 8:30 this morning headed west in I64. Our first overnight stop will be west of Charleston, WV. Paul & Mary are following with their truck and travel trailer, and Gus is sleeping in his nest in the RV.
We had some engine issues today on the steep hills, going up. A warning light came on and went off on the downhill, so we are trying to figure out what is going on and how bad it might be. It only happened on steep and long inclines.

Driving through Charleston has been  nostalgic for Jim and me. We lived in Cross Lanes, west of the city, and I taught high school while Jim worked in St Albans back in 1973. We love driving by the Capital with its gold dome.

We are staying overnight at Bill & Shawn's RV Park, which consists of about 10 full hookup sites. No other amenities but it's fine for $30.  We continue west in the morning.
