Today we left Moab and OK RV Park, site 8. It was one of the best sites in the park with lots of shade to help keep us a little cooler. I would like to say that we are done with 95 degree heat, but there are no guarantees on that. For the next 4 days we will be in a cooler climate as we head toward Red Canyon RV Park about 10 miles from Bryce Canyon. It is about a 5 hour drive, some interstate, some secondary roads where we follow the Sevier River south.
The story began with a 5-week journey in a 1997 RV, from Richmond, Va to Utah and back, July 23 through August 27, 2011. The next step included the sale of that RV and the purchase of a larger, classier RV we call Princess. Now we have changed RVs again. We sold the Princess to a family of 5, and purchased a 2017 Class C, smaller than the Princess but some better features as well as some limitations storage wise. And so our adventures continue.

Day 27- Drive to Bryce Canyon Area
We are staying at Red Canyon RV Park on Route 12 just a mile or so from Route 89. It is a small park but we have a pull-thru site with full hookup and easy access to several points of interest. It has been clouding up since we got here, with rain expected overnight and all day tomorrow. It is remnants of Hurricane Nora which first hit landfall in Mexico.
